Conservation Areas are areas which have been designated to have significant heritage value. These areas are therefore subject to tighter planning control and the properties within Conservation Areas are subject to different limitations regarding Permitted Development Rights.
APOLLO work collaboratively with clients to ensure delivery of a personal design that will reflect the style of the host dwelling and which respects the character of the Conservation Area. Planning Statements can be written to support the argument for a proposed development within a Conservation Area.
Conservation Areas can sometimes to subject to Article 3 and Article 4 of the Town and Country Planning Act; these Articles can remove Permitted Development Rights and can make approval of planning permission more difficult to obtain.
