Location Plan

A Location Plan is a map at an identified scale which is national requirement for all planning applications, it will include a red line boundary of the site and will show adjacent street names to clearly indicate the location of the application site.

Site Plan

A Site Plan is similar to a location plan but at a more zoomed in scale. Site Plans help to give context for the proposed development and show how proposals will directly relate with adjacent neighbouring properties.

Planning Statement

A planning statement is a report written by a consultant which highlights the benefits of the proposed development and considers the impact on relevant local and national planning policy. Planning statements are of particular importance for potentially contentious sites or site which are subject to planning constraints.

Design and Access Statement

A Design and Access statement describes the site and the proposed development. It can help to clarify potential physical issues with the site and how they are proposed to be overcome as part of the planning application.

Existing and Proposed Floor Plans

Floor plans are a birds-eye-view of a building showing the points at which a building comes into contact with the ground, they show the footprint and the internal rooms and layout of the building. Floor plans are used, in combination with Elevation Plans, to show the extent of the proposed development.

Existing and Proposed Elevation Plans

An Elevation is a flat frontal representation depicting one face of a building. Elevations are useful to show building heights and to show the location of windows. Elevations in combination with Floor Plans are used to demonstrate and assess the extent of a proposed development.

3D CAD Model

Apollo Town Planning provides computer generated 3D model which can help the client to visualise exactly what the proposal will look like and how it will relate to the existing property

Footprint & Volume Calculations

Some types of applications, such as Green Belt and Certificate of Lawfulness applications, require calculations to show the existing and proposed footprint and volume. This is used to assess whether an a proposed development is proportionate when compared to the existing host property.  APOLLO use CAD software to accurately calculate this volume or area, even for the most awkward of shapes.
